A few days ago, on the occasion of my partners birthday, we went to a "Tōfu and Yuba" restaurant in Nara, Japan. Located in Nimyo (Nara Prefecture) along NR 7, its called "Ume no Hana" or "Plum Blossom". A Japanese garden surrounds the restaurant and inside are separate rooms for guests to dine. You can choose between western or Japanese style seating. There is a Japanese inner style garden with a water basin. The dinner served in traditional Japanese ceramics, and lacquerware was very beautiful. Part of the experience is the presentation and arrangement of the food. The accompanying pictures will speak for themselves. For some courses, you will need a reservation, though. There is a time limit of two hours to enjoy your meal, which is more than enough.

There was a lot of food to eat and the staff where very kind. The Tofu is pretty good would recomend.

Access is not good, but it is in a place where you can relax in the countryside. It is suitable for family and group dining with table seats in completely private rooms. The food is healthy, the taste is satisfying, and I think the cost performance is good. I recommend the matsutake mushrooms steamed in an earthenware pot on the autumn menu. Also, be aware that seasonal parfaits (chestnut, strawberry, etc.) sell out quickly.

Used for my mother's birthday. Since it was Saturday afternoon, we could have lunch! When I made a reservation, I was told that it would be impossible to make a reservation unless the price was 4,700 yen or more, so I opted for the Matsutake Kaiseki. I'd like lunch to be around 3,500 yen or more. Beautiful private rooms, delicious food, and excellent customer service. It was wonderful. I wanted to try Mineoka tofu, so I added it, and they told me there was a coupon for downloading the app. Since it was my birthday, I also had a coupon to change to the dessert parfait, so it was a double deal. We will definitely use you again.

Had a 100 Day Celebration on this venue and it was very well presented. The lady that have assisted us was very helpful and accommodating.

I received the Matsutake Zanmai Minori. Although they are not domestic matsutake mushrooms, they were delicious. Unfortunately, all the flavors were similar. I wanted a little more variety.

I always use it when I go to Nara for business. All the dishes are definitely delicious. I like Mineoka tofu, lotus root manju, Namafu dengaku, and tofu salad, so I always order plum lunch and get Mineoka tofu with an app coupon (lol) The woman who served us this time was very nice, and perhaps because we had mentioned it during our conversation, she asked if we could take a photo to commemorate our birthday. However, in reality, no one had a birthday in that month, so I was very sorry for taking the time to pay attention to them. Still, he took the opportunity to take a photo. The photos were so nice that our lunch while running errands turned into a lunch on a special occasion. Thank you very much (^^)
